The Human Resources Manager, Quebec supports a range of human resources programs and services including: recruitment,
training and development, compensation administration, employee relations, and labour relations. Develops processes, materials and tools for Quebec facilities that support core human resources programs.
Recruitment: Manages full-cycle recruitment for Quebec facilities. Creates plan to address seasonal hiring requirements. Works collaboratively with facility leaders throughout the recruitment and selection process. Builds relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other external recruiting sources.
Employee and Labour Relations: Acts as a resource, providing guidance to all management and supervisory staff on interpretation and administration of HR programs and policies. Provides advice on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Ensures the consistent interpretation and administration of the collective agreements. Attends grievance proceedings and negotiations as appropriate.
Project Management: Project manages complex, one-time or limited time HR initiatives/projects including scope, planning, communication, implementation, budget management, and measurement.
Compensation: Conducts periodic research within local labour market to determine competitive hourly wage rates. Supports the annual compensation review process. Oversees payroll and benefits program and responds to general inquiries.
Training and Development: Supports the implementation of company-wide and local training and development within the province. Assess training needs within the province and works with the Manager, Organizational Development to implement programs.
Performance Management: Supports the performance management process within the province. Provides ongoing support, advice and coaching for leaders and employees on performance management processes such as establishing goals, performance issues, evaluations, etc.
Leadership: Supervises and coaches the HR Coordinator, Quebec. Coaches leadership team and employees to effectively resolve workplace issues and manage change.
Other: Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations; acts decisively to make adjustment where required. Works collaboratively with other areas of the business to ensure the effective implementation and application of HR services and initiatives. Sources and manages day-to-day relationships with external consultants, service providers, etc. Executes other HR-related programs and special projects as required for the province or as mandated by Corporate Human Resources.

Responsible for all paperwork and procedures necessary to ensure an efficient and accurate inventory management system.
Maintain and update inventory records.
Reconcile inventory to book records and make adjustments as required.
Coordinate the annual physical inventory procedures.
Work with the appropriate people to implement and maintain a loss prevention program.
Make recommendations to the Inventory Control Operations Manager on programs to improve the management of inventory.
Plan and implement a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly handled by either dumping, salvaging, or returning to stock. Maintain records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable products to stock.
Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports.
Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location. When necessary, process proper documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction. Take appropriate action on product that is not in saleable condition.
Perform weekly cycle count and make system adjustments as necessary.
Develop a program to maintain tight security over the inventory. Ensure that only authorized personnel have access to inventory records. Maintain accurate inventory records to help facilitate shortage detection.
Develops all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Complete and issue all necessary records and reports including filing invoices and maintaining customer records in a timely and accurate fashion.
Communicate with customers regarding timing of physical inventories. Work with Customer Service Representatives and Operations Supervisors to establish cut-off dates and liase with Inventory Control Operations Manager.
Perform other duties as required.
High school graduation with related post-secondary training and/or advanced courses; completion of specialized training or certification requiring up to 1 year of education; 3 - 5 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.

Responsible for the daily management of an operational unit, including supervising the activities of personnel, making recommendations to the Facility Manager on operations, ensuring efficient and safe operation of materials handling equipment, ensuring safety policies are followed, and monitoring customer service.
3 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Post-secondary training and/or certification an asset.
Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
